After fixing a few important issues found in 5.6.0 and 5.6.1 the MapServer team has announced the release of MapServer version 5.6.2.

The binary distributions listed in the download page should be updated with the new release in the next few days.

These days Mapservers have started getting some better utility these days. Due to the increased utility the use of Mapservers has also increased for different purposes. I think that it would be a very good thing to have a better utility for the these.
